HIGH DEFINITION PRODUCTION IN ISRAELHighlight Films provides High Defintion cameras, crews and all production services for video and TV productions in Israel, Palestine and throughout the Middle East. In the last two years the use of High Definition formats spread from the production of commercial spots to almost all kinds of TV, film and video productions. We began filming with HD cameras in 2002, and continued to equip crews with the various Sony cameras. We now have our own new HDW900R, the latest Sony model.
In other video, documentary and corporate productions, we prefer using one of our Sony HDV Z1 camera sets. In several cases we incorporated video from HD with HDV footage and the results were more than satisfactory. As the only production company in Israel to have its own HD camera, we are regularly editing and going through all phases of post-production with HDV tapes, but as far as online and colour correction we use other studios in Israel to work on HD tapes. As of September 2008, we have a fully equipped high definition online editing suite, based on the AVID Adrenaline HD system. Cameramen / DOP We are working with the leading Israeli and Palestinian HD cameramen, and with several camera assistants who know the Sony HDW900 models inside and out. In 2007 we used HD cams in many commercial, documentary and dramatic productions in Israel and Palestine, as well as in Jordan, Poland and South Africa. As all of our own productions are now using either HD or HDV footage, we have an extensive HD / HDV archive already available, ansd more is added everty week. More about the Highlight Films archive HD video editing We are fully equipped with the Sony HDCAM and HDV formats. Our preferred HD editing system is the Avid Adrenaline HD. We provide all HD related techincal services and editing services by experienced HD editors - both offline and online. Our Tel Aviv HD studio can produce a full broadcast qaulity HD or HDV master for both Europe and the US.
